In Fieldman, every work order has a status that shows its current stage in the workflow. Statuses make it easy for technicians, supervisors, and office staff to track progress and know exactly what’s happening with each job.
Available
The work order is ready to be scheduled or assigned. No technician has been selected yet.
Scheduled
The work order has a set date and time, but it has not yet been assigned to a technician.
Assigned
The work order has been assigned to a specific technician or crew and is ready for field execution.
Completed
The technician has finished the job, and all required data (photos, forms, readings) has been submitted.
Returned to Utility
The work order was sent back to the utility for review, additional information, or further action.
On Hold / Unavailable
The work order cannot proceed at this time. This may happen due to access issues, missing parts, customer requests, or other blockers.
